Importantly, a protective impact of vitamin E in rats treated with TCDD and -tocopherol, which manifested itself in the lack of visible pathological changes within the structure of Toxoplasma Species internal organs along with the activity of hepatic enzymes, was also demonstrated [9,10,50]. 5. Conclusions The intoxication of offspring by administering two,three,7,8-tetrachloro-dibenzo-p-dioxin to pregnant mothers causes adjustments in both the liver structure and blood plasma. Dioxins significantly affect the structure from the liver, which negatively affects its function, mainly in the scope from the metabolism of plasma proteins and hepatic enzymes.
